I did some searching but everyones post on tuning with the wideband acts as if the sensor remains fairly constant through the entire rpm range.

My process for tuning was to drive around and keep it at a steady rpm level and tune with the SAFC-II accordingly. However "constant" rpm has been the key word. As soon as I give it a little gas or decel to keep at a particular rpm, the wideband guage(AEM EGUO) goes crazy. A little gas and it starts going really rich to so rich its unreadable, decel too quickly and it goes lean to almost unreadable.

I placed it just before the cat right after the flexible part in the down pipe.

I havnt even begun to tune for boost yet. EGT's look good the entire time.

SFMU has black spring with 2.72 disk.
FP is 18psi
38lb injectors, 60m TB, walbro 255

Am i tuning wrong because its almost impossible to get it to stay in the optimal range when i push on the gas.

When cruising, you should be around 13.8-14.8.

When boosting, I tune for around 11.4 but I run higher boost.

When you decel, you should see it lean, your not on the throttle at all.

you basically want to tune at full boost . when you let off the gas it will jump to 20:1 because the injectors turn off when not needed . cruising should be around what mike said . it fluctuates . i tune to 11.6 under full boost wot .
