Ok, I am in the middle of my turbo install on my talon, and the two parts that I do not fully understand how to put on are the super sequential blow off valve (HKS copy) and the external wastegate. And please don't tell me to search I have beening sitting here for awhile searching already! I don't think the search works properly.
I did not get any instructions with either of these parts, but the wastegate seem simple enough. Mount to wastegate flange on turbo manifold with gasket. Attach flange with ring on bottom with the two screws included. And finally a vacuum hose on the top to supply the boost to open the gate. There is another threaded hole on the side, what is this for?
As for the blow off valve, this thing is a total mystery to me how to attach it to the intercooler piping. There is a bag of parts including: o-ring, a flange for mounting ic piping, a weird ring that looks like a giant c-clip with loopholes on the ends, and some little screws, and finally a circular thing that the o-ring seems to fit into. I have been sitting here trying to piece it together, but it is futile, maybe I too tired.

I cant tell you what to do with the wastegate since you didnt explain which one you have.
The BOV is simple. The large ring that looks like it attaches tot he IC pipe DOES. It needs to be welded on. The o-Ring fits inside a groove in the flange. THe BOV pushes into the flange against the o-Ring. The large clip will fit on top the BOV lip inside the flange and lock into a groove.
Since its a HKS knockoff, did you search HKS site to see if they list their instructions? How much are the instructions worth to you? Was it work buying a knockoff?

Pretty much what Terry said.
To add, get a C-Clip tool or take it to an exhaust shop (what I ended up doing). It makes the mounting of the BOV to the flange/IC-pipe MUCH easier and you don't risk scratching the shit out of the BOV.

We just finished doing my buddies' external wastegate and we used the side port for the vacuum line, not the top. It works fine, it is an XS Power, I think it's like a Tial knockoff.

If I knew that these peices were knockoffs (Tial knockoff wastegate, and HKS knockoff blowoff valve), I would not have bid on the auction, but for my first complete turbo install who cares. I am doing this to learn, not to make a show car. I have other cars for that. My goal is to make functional daily driver with stock internals, nothing fancy or complicated. Thanks for the help, I greatly appreciate it! It is awesome that I can learn from others with the same car who have done the same mods. You guys rock!
PS: I am guessing that if you use the top vacuum port on the wastegate, than the side one needs to be plugged, right?

NONONONO the top port is use when you have a Electronic boost controller. If you hook the wastegate up with the top port only then the wastegate will not open.

Shut your gob, Terry. I just showed up with the flange, clip and BOV saying "get with the fixing".
