#97431, "Questions, and more questions..."

Ok so I have made up my own turbo kit with internet parts here and there. But I have many questions; first I will list off the parts I have.

Turbo kit from fatboy garage; consisting of

T3 turbo (same as star performance stage II
Tubular turbo manifold
Wastegate
Super Sequential Blow-off Valve
Intercooler for front mount

Stuff from concept illusions (If they ever arrive)
Intake manifold kit:
Intake
AEM Fuel Rail
EGR Block off
270CC injectors (like 25 pound-I know small!)

Walbro 255 GPM intank pump
FMU
APEXi SAFCII
Map sensor Fix
O2 Sensor fix

Now, I am missing Exhaust, downpipe, intercooler piping, oil drain line, and other tidbits I don't know about yet.

My questions are:

Will FMU work with APEXi S-AFC II? I heard an SFMU is needed!
Will I have problems with map sensor fix?
Is wideband O2 sensor mandatory?
Can I run EGR block off without setting trouble codes off?
Oh yeah and what is megasquirt, and how hard is it to use and install? I am guessing not for first time turbo projects!!

Thanks,

Daniel

I seriously hope you mean liter per hour on that fuel pump, because 255 gallons per minute, yeah emoji But anyways, fmu will work with afc, afc just tricks stock computer so you can pull out some fuel. You shouldn't have problems with your map sensor, you do have a missing link or fcd right? A wb-02 is highly recommended, so you can make sure you don't run lean and blow stuff up, or run super rich and mess stuff up... Running too rich isn't a good thing, neither is running lean. I blocked off my egr and don't have a cel, but most get them... I also have no catalytic convertor, and no cel from that. There is no need to have an afc, and megasquirt... It's like saying you're gonna have an emanage, and an aem ems... It's rather pointless. Only thing I can tell you about MS, is SEARCH if you are asking questions about it now, you will NEVER get it to work right. That is not something you want to do, if you have no knowledge of wiring, electronics, tuning, or problem solving.

Yes I have something similar to missing link that concept illusions offers. Yes, I bought the intake manifold kit that concept illusions offers as well. The O2 sensor fix is what keeps your engine light from coming on when you eliminate the catalytic convertor, it is supposed to trick the second o2 sensor into thinking everything is fine. What kind of widebands do you guys run? Also, what do you guys do for mounting your gauges, in your a-pillar or something else?
