#95968, "What else needed ?"

Hi,
First... my goal : I want a car that is more "fun" to drive... daily driven car. I have Auto so I know it will be harder but dont want to swap or change the car. I already have a shift kit. I want a ~6-8 psi boost cause I dont plane a rebuilt till next year.

I'm about to complete my "custom" turbo kit and just worry if I miss something. I want to be sure to have all the parts before starting the process.

Here is what I have :

HAHN Manifold
HAHN S16G
HAHN 3" Downpipe
HAHN FMIC
HAHN IC Piping
Turbo Feed and Return oil lines
Walbro 255 Ful Pump
Synapse Missing Link
Apexi Turbo Timer (will use this one to monitor A/F for the moment)
BOOST,EGT,Fuel Pressure gauges

Ok, now I know I dont have the BOV. I'm not sure if the 1G bov will fit on the hahn piping. I dont care of a loud or crazy sound of the bov... just a good one that work well and the 1G one are cheap. As for the FMU or SFMU... yeah I know it's better to own a sfmu but I dont plane on running more than 8 psi but if its safer to have a sfmu I will buy one. For now I have stock injector and read that 8psi will max out them. Can I use them for about 1 month and but 310cc later and use them with fmu without modification? .. maybe just change the disk ? Also its seem easier to install fmu than smfu right ? Finaly, I dont have any vaccum lines at this time... do I just start the install and go to store buy some rubber line to complete the install ?

Do I miss something in my kit or Ive done my homeworks ?

Thanks emoji

I would add 4g63 exhaust manifold studs and nuts (do a search and you'll find the part number and where to buy other than satan)

FMU is fine for about 7-8psi on stock injectors, but if your planning on getting bigger injectors shortly after putting on the turbo I would go with the SFMU, yea its more expensive and harder to install, but it's easier to adjust when changing injector size and is tuneable. I'm not sure about if you were putting on 310's but I know if you were to get something bigger, you need to lower idle fuel pressure quite a bit which you can't do with an fmu. There's an SFMU install diagram in the mods from the main page which will tell you everything you need to have and how to install the SFMU.

Do you already have an oil pan drilled and tapped or are you planning on doing this during the install.

In addition to the vac line, you're gonna need some random stuff like exhaust manifold gasket, oil pan gasket, make sure you have a 1 1/16" Deep socket for when installing the oil feed line onto the back of the block. If your gonna go with an FMU and have the late model fuel system, I would get like 20' of vac line (should only cost like 10 bucks. Your gonna need about half of that to run back to the fmu under the tank and you probably won't use all of the rest of it, but it's good to have lying around incase a piece starts to leak.

I might be missing something but someone else will chime in and I'm sure someone else can help you out with your BOV question

You will need to tee into the stock sending unit on the back of the block, you do not need to drill a hole into your block.

You will need to tap the oil pan and weld on a fitting.

Malenko outlined this nicely with pics, see here:
