#95963, "question on turbo oil drain gasket and boost"

I have a super 16g turbo that I took apart to clean, and I need a new gasket for the oil drain line on the bottom of the turbo. Does anybody know where I can find one. And also what is the max boost I can push on 42 lb injectors, safc 2, vortech sfmu?

That turbo is a hahn turbo correct? Order it from hahn.

42lb injectors....less than 15psi off the top of my head but you would need to slowly increase boost from 10psi and datalog your runs to see where you start to max out your injectors (95-99% duty). then back down 3psi for weather variations.

Just my thinking on it.

Its the same ones that the GST uses at the drain tube to oil pan junction. You can get them from RRE or any Mitsu/Eagle dealer.

you can go old school and cut one out of a piece of 1-ply cardboard from something like an oil filter box. It works just fine.

Damn the gasket from RRE or the dealers is under 2$. Do it right the first time.
