I'm going to be running a 14b on my car and i'm trying to find out what all else i need. I'm still not sure about the fuel setup or how to set the boost. I want to run 5-6 psi. I have a safc2 in my car already. I want to keep my stock injectors, but i have 450cc blue tops if i need them. I have a 1g bov and smic also. Any info or help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Just need that little extra umph for everday driving. Thanks in advance.

BTW... Please don't ask me to go search, I already have.
and also..i'm not a BANME!. i do all my own work on my car...
so just help me out so i don't blow my shit up.

I am not going to "ask" you to search, I am going to TELL you to search since every single thing you need to know about this has been covered 5 bagillion times do0d. So yes, you are a BANME!

If you dont feel like searching, then atleast go the homepage, there are GREAT write ups on fuel system building there!

you obviousy don't understand me when i say i have already searched. I search this site for hours and hours almost every frickin night. I'm not looking for fuel writeups and such. I just want someone to give me a straight up answer. if all you guys can do is tell me to search, then this site isn't worth as much as i thought. you guys need to learn to help others and quit telling people to do it themselves.

The "straight up" answer you are looking for is the fuel writeups you have apparently already found. This is something that is super easy to figure out, we talk about it all the time...

FMU + walbro 255 on your stock injectors is good to 7-8psi

Try looking at the main site's info. Driggs and GSGoinFast wrote that.

See, wasn't too hard emoji

EDIT:
Here, I even found it for you, your welcome in advance.

dude i was where u were like 3 months ago when i first joined this forumn. and guess what, the same exact people told me to search!
yes, get a walbro! if you plan on staying at 5-6psi forever on stock injectors and don't want to waste the extra money get the 195lph one but honestly an extra $30-40 for a 255lph won't hurt. atleast you will never have to worry about the pump. MBC won't lower your boost, it will only turn it up from what your wastegate is set as.

honestly man, its obvious you haven't researched enough. i mean i found the exact topic you were looking for in seconds
http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=8&topic_id=79545
so its either your not searching enough or ur not using the search button right. try changing the "search in what field" to "subject only" gauranteed you will get more accurate results rather than having to read through 100's of posts that have nothing to do with what your looking for.

*edit* why do you have a safc? yes, i know it looks good.. lmfao but really, do u even know what it does?

I'm sorry. A straight up answer to what? You didn't really post a specific question. You stated what you had, what you wanted, and asked for generalized comments and info, if available.

Step into my mind for a second and see how this plays out...

Hmmm... I wonder what he's unsure about? FPR? Injectors? Boost might be the wastegate spring mod or whatever in the VFAQ, but what else does he have to say?

Ah. Stock internals and a budget turbo system. Cool-cool. He's gonna have to do that spring thing, I bet.

Why do they always have a fucking SAFC? They don't do shit on a 2GNT! Like it's the magic, fucking bullet or something. Newsflash: Unless you roll a 4G63 or a Honda, SAFC will help you lean things out, at best. Otherwise, you're just fucking with the MAP signal and asking for trouble, imo.

Not sure why he wants to keep the stock injectors, but at least he has the upgrades just in case.

Wait. Not sure how to do the fuel system, but not looking for fuel write-ups? Wha...?

If you would provide more details in your post, perhaps even demonstrating a bit more knowledge of basics which come up in nearly every custom turbo system thread on this forum, people might be able to give you the straight-up answer you require. We can't help you when you speak in statements rather than straight-up questions.

So, specifically, what do you want to know? If you want to know what else you need to complete your system, we need to know exactly what you have. If you want to know if the stock injectors will work, ask if they will be okay for Xpsi. If you want to know how to limit the amount of boost that 14b generates, say as much.

Give it another try? emoji

EDIT:
Pretty sure you can only lower boost to where the WG is set. Look into adjusting the WG spring. I bet that helps out with lowering boost.

And I am willing to be that 98% of this guys questions he is going to ask will be answered under the SEARCH function or the home page link that I said before.

Thanks for not bein rude driggs. I understand what your sayin. I shouldn't have been so vague. let's try this again.
I am going to be running a 14b on my car. I want to use my stock injectors on 5-6 psi. I have a 1g smic and bov. I intend to have custom piping made(intake and exhaust). I wasn't sure if i absolutley had to have the fmu or the walbro 255. I can get the walbro from a freind. If i'm gonna get a FMU, shouldn't i just go ahead and get an SFMU? The SAFC2 was free from a freind so it's not like i made it a point to get one. And yes, i do know what it does. I will SEARCH for the wg spring mod. You other guys out there need to be a little more respectful to people. If someone were to ask me a question and i knew it was in the forum, i would answer it if i knew it, and then recommend that they try searching in the future. there must be a lot of lazy dsmer's out there

If you ever plan on upgrading your internals and running more boost, then yes you should just get the SFMU or a different kind of FPR. Either will work for you.

Everyone on this forum respects each other (well most of us, lol). I nor anyone else is disrespecting you, you just dont realize how many times we see these questions asked every week. People get sick and tired of seeing the same subject over and over again when you guys are asking the same things. I swear to you, I am trying to be rude, but I could find every answer you have asked already withing 15 minutes of using the search button. Great thing about the search button is that you dont have to wait for an answer, when you find it, its right in front of you!
