Ok, so I just need to know if this guy is just messing with me or what cause I have a hard time believeing him. I am using a 14b turbo on my car and it is internally gated. I am only running max 2psi because I am sure the actuator is broke. But some guy told me that it is running that low because I turned the actuator 3/4 a full turn to bolt it up, which in turn is making the gate open earlier. Can someone tell me if this guy is messing with me.

man the actuator doesn't turn at all. he is an idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about. But then again, 3/4 to a full turn of what? You clocked the compressor? you might have put it at such and such an angle that the wastegate flapper is not shutting all the way, which would seriously limit the boost you can produce.

that could be fixed by switching to an atpturbo actuator, where you can adjust the length of the arm, and will 100% for sure not be broken.
