Would anyone suggest doing this? You take nitrous or methane and inject it directly into the cold air intake. Not only does it give it more fuel but it keeps it cooler also. Any incite is appreciated. Thanks.

You're talking about a 'Dry' system, and from most peoples experience it is suggested to stay away from those on our cars. If you're going to run nitrous, just pony up the extra $100 for a 'Wet' shot, it's a lot safer and you can run more nitrous than with a 'Dry' kit. FYI, our ECU will NOT add fuel to accomodate a 'Dry' kit, so if you run one you will go into a lean condition very quickly.

I am suprised that no one yet has jumped on the fact that methane is cow farts.

I thought 95's could run the dry system just fine? I know you could run more with a wet setup, but if he is 95 he can run the dry kit. I don't know if I would put it in the intake, but it is possible on 95's...

the intake is easier than direct port. Just put the nozzle as close to the TB as possible, although I would suggest doing A LOT of reading before you decide to spray.

Yeah let me be clear here. YOU ARE NOT READY TO DO THIS YET. But it is possible on a 95. Don't do it yet, read up before you blow up!

By no means am I ever going to do it, but I was a little curious... why not ask around to get some information on it? But seriously I am considering a turbo or wet shot of nitrous. Anyone want to suggest one or the other? I would only run about 7 or 8 lbs of boost if I ran turbo - stock internals. emoji

I'm planning both, but am doing it very very slowly. Reading a lot and picking peoples brains (Sometimes with ridiculous ideas). If you're going to stick with stock internals choose only one *cough cough* turbo *cough cough*. With each you have the possibility of detonation, with both you're doubling your chances. Although, I have heard of people using turbo and using nitrous as a push button intercooler (ie. super small shot to cool the air in the intake)
