For those of you who get Speedvision, crank it up at 7:30 AM EST tomorrow morning for the program Bike Week.
You will see our rider, Kent Stotz, take the World Championship in AMA-Prostar Streetbike Shootout competition.
A quick rundown of our weekend:
#1 Qualifier with a 7.76 (our FIFTH #1 Qualifier in a row!). Low ET of the event. Hi MPH of the event. Set both ends of the National Record: 7.75 seconds @ 189.31 MPH. Ran an unheard of 7.63 to take the #1 Plate!
We did this with an 1192 cc, 500 HP Honda Blackbird Streetbike that uses a Hahn RaceCraft Turbosystem and fuel system. Yup, a street legal, no wheelie bar, 7.6 second motorcycle. Talk about a buttful: this machine will accelerate from zero to 150 in five seconds flat!
