Hey all... so I got my car back, this is currently what the setup looks like.

Basically, I reused the manifold & turbo from the STAR kit I purchased like long time ago... The engine is built, and it is running the HRC FMIC and all custom 2.5" stainless piping.

The exhaust is a full 3" stainless with hi flow cat.

It made 261fwhp @ 10psi so far, but we didn't want to push it anymore since the engine was brand new....

More pics to come later...

I'm not sure where you are refering to? The car has no accidents... but, the front bumper was modified a little to fit the hrc nicely behind it.

Future plans? Probably drivetrain...

are you running just megasquirt? Looks like a ms box, and the ecu is gone so that is what I assuming. More details on the setup please. Those are awesome numbers you put down by the way too. Built block?

No, Im not running MS. I am running a WinTec3... a much more expensive standalone :/. Using the AEM UEGO Gauge type wideband with it. Oh also, the car was running 94 octane pump gas.

Yup, its a built block. Typical off the shelf forged internals. JE Pistons 8.2:1 and Crower Rods. I can post dyno sheets too, but this dyno didn't log boost pressure.

That's a really nice looking setup man! Any pics of how the intercooler piping is ran? I wanted to use the HRC FMIC setup, but I've got ABS so the piping would have to be different. I've also got fog lights and I don't wanna lose them either. I like how you did the wastegate setup, very clean looking.

96 Indy Red Dodge Avenger I4 5spd
225.7whp/227.2wtq @ 10psi, currently running 12-14psi.
HRC Stage III turbo setup

GReddy FMIC w/ custom piping
1G crushed BOV
SPEC Stage 3 clutch
2.5" DP, 2.5" high flow cat, 3" ERT catback w/ Magnaflow muffler and 3" tip.
much much more...

but I don't need OBD2!

how do I take my ECU out like that? Did you just follow the guide on neons.org that meant for some other engine management system?

Yeah... the only 2 real issues is the idle control and the alternator regulation. For idle control it is possible to get a big honkin' solenoid (maybe a nitrous solenoid?) and hook it up to the intake manifold with a little filter the atmospheric side, a MS can control idle that way. Or you can use the MS2 which should deal with the stock 4 wire idle stepper motor. For alternator regulation I believe there is a standalone MOPAR part that can do it.

That thing is beautiful man, great job. Can't wait to see what it can do with a little more boost.

I bought it from the canadian dealer at the time, before they lost all their engineers. The ecu is inside my car, thats why its not in the engine bay.

As for Idle Control, we are using the a WinTec module to control the stepping motor, but their latest firmware fucked up the IAC controller so my idle bounces.

Alternator regulation, I got that MOPAC aftermaket part which integrated with the Tec3 nicely.

All in all.. it was a pricey standalone solution. But we don't have much choices for standalones, so I think it was worth the money because it works awesome with boost.

Current problems, no speedometer because the ECU powered the VSS. I still haven't figured out how to power the VSS, since the Tec3 sensors run on a higher voltage.

I can't remember, but something tells me it's 8 volts. Finding a regulator to provide you with the right voltage should be easy...

Btw, we have OBD2 inspections here in Canada, just my 95 is not old enough where it doesnt need obd2.
