#95238, "More boost in 3rd/4th than 2nd?"

WG vac source from turbo, 7 psi spring, fmic.

In second I'll see 6.5 maybe creep to 7 by redline

In 3rd and 4th by 4k rpms boost is at 8psi.

I'm thinking its the wastegate or Vac Line(WG had leaked before and I used some JB Weld on it so that's the first thing to check).

Any other suggestions on what it may be? I'm at work now and am bored so just trying to brainstorm other causes.

I have the same problem with my hahn kit. In 1st and 2nd gear it hits around 10-12psi and in 3rd and 4th it stays a 15psi where I set it. I have checked for boost leaks and cant find any. It might be a bad wastegate

The difference is I'm seeing boost higher than it should be set for. Although the temperamental POS acted normal on the drive home, hopefully I can wait another month or so before needing a new WG.

I've always had this. 3 different turbos, 2 internally gated, 1 external. Several different boost controllers. It doesn't bother me, I only want about 10 psi in 1st and 2nd anyway. After that bombs away.
