im trying to figure out what size intercooler i can fit behind my blitz front and it seems like there is very very little space in between + theres a bunch of lines in the way and the centre piece of the bumper is like a finger width away from these lines. just don't get how im supposed to fit anything in between.. was thinking about sticking with the side mount setup which i was gona install but i dont wanna fab up pipes for that and then have do the same thing again for a front mount.

Almost any bumper you use with a FMIC will need some cutting/trimming.

Those are the AC line too that I think you are talking about. Just remove your AC emoji

I think he was talking about the power steering cooling lines, which can be bent out of the way, or even removed all together. For my Greddy 24R, I removed my bumper support all together, and cut the top of the bumper cover for the upper pipe. Wasn't too bad though. Just get it, measure it up, cut, mount, and be happy emoji

I had to cut my blitz bumper quite a bit for my intercooler to fit. Its not hard to do so i wouldnt really worry about it.(i can rhyme)

Removing the bumper support altogether also saves about .. 35? pounds off the front end. I just took mine out, but if you crash your front end will get its ass totally handed to it.

Not to highjack, but did you have to remove your bumper support boosted60trim? I wanna know what I'm gettin into installing my front mount so I don't waste time screwing around. I thought you had to, but I didn't see it mentioned in the star instructions

ok first off i cant live without my ac, gets pretty hot over here around summer time emoji
second taking off front bumper support is not a good idea, if u crash u will do some serious damage to ur front end. i am very unlucky and have been in 3 accidents this year.. no i dont suck at driving (atleast 2 of 3 werent my fault) emoji
yeah i want a star front mount with piping so badly, ive been searching for months no one seems to sell them seperate without a turbo kit. ur also right its a perfect fit for blitz bumpers. and will fit right in the centre without having to cut anything off edges of body. the lines im talking about is actually 1 line, its infront of the radiator goes half way from left to right then curves and goes back, im sure i cant get rid of those. anyways i got a post on wanted so whoever has a star or something almost the same size (starion, etc.) plz let me know
thx

PS lines. You unbolt them from the core support, unbolt the bottom of the core support from the radiator suport sdtructure, and shove the line behind it. Bolt the core support back down, and you're gold.

Or just remove it and connect the rubber lines back together. *shrug*
