#94605, "Fuel Filter Help"

Hey guys, I am still having some problems with the eclipse. As mentioned before it feels like the engine is choking when I WOT it and has a rough idle as in it drops to 700 then to 500 and back and fourth till it thinks it wants to die. I am thinking that I may have installed the wrong universal filter. I tried to get one that was the same size as the Stock filter. And the filter is on their right. So my question is what universal filter did you guys use? Was their a certain size. The filter I have now is inline.

Just gonna throw this out there in the air, but did the fuel filter you put in have a directional arrow on it on which way the fuel should flow through it? I havent seen a universal filter like this before, but all the GM filters I do at work at the shop are all diectional.

I have the stock one now but i have the parts to convert my fuel line to all -6. I plan on using the Earls universal fuel filter in place of the stock one.
