Has anyone has swapped one of these into the Turbonetics T3/T4 and was it worth the money? I have a lag happy auto trans that could definitely benefit from a little quicker spool-up.

I dont think anyone has swapped these yet, most of the star turbo's out there are only 3-4 years old and will last another 3 years before any serious attention is needed.

Best bet would be to call them and ask about fitment ect.

A local guy here got one. Spool up was slightly improved by about 500rpm and peak power remained basically the same. For how much the CHRAs cost, you are better off selling the turbo you've got and then putting all the money towards a GT28RS or GT3071R or something.

CHRA is only around 700.00. its cheaper than Buying a BB turbo.

I couldnt sell my star turbo for 700. to buy a GT series turbo.
