Well I started my car up today after installing my 440's and it started up and idled fine but if I if I push on the throtle at all it wants to die. My fuel pressure gauge is reading 0 my vac is around 20. I changed the sfmu disc and spring to the 2.72 and largest disc and dark spring and have the static screw up pretty far. If I put the sfmu together wrong could that be causing this? Also this part Im holding where does it go with the sfmu or what? Sorry for all the questions.

hey... im new to here, but can answer some of your questions. first off the thing in the picture kinda looks like the vacum nipple for the sfmu but not exactly sure because mines looks kinda goldish. anyways if u want to make sure if you put everything in right order you should check my thread, i asked the same question and included pictures, everyone told me it was right. here's the link. http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=8&topic_id=93762&mesg_id=93762&page=
One more thing, did you even connect a vacume source to your sfmu? thats about all i can help you with bro, sorry.

Yeah mine is a gold color too and is hooked up on my sfmu and is connected to my vac line to the intake manifold this is another peice that I have no idea what it is. Does anyone else have any answers to my other questions above like the 0 fuel pressure and wanting to die ect....

Sure, if your static screw is almost all the way, thats why your FP gauge says zero. Loosen the nut, and tighten down the allen head screw until you see about 18-22psi for 440's on the idle.
For your pic, that needs to go in your vac line coming off the SFMU, Vortech says, close to around 2" from the SFMU approx.
