Hey everybody, I just blew my turbo 420A. It was high mileage I guess, and time to go. I just bought a 420A with 64K on it from ebay. I will not boost this next engine. I wont keep it for that long. Two questions really. 1. Nitrous: I want a safe shot im guessing between 35-50. Wet, Dry? You tell me. What supporting mods? What plugs? I want the car to stay reliable. Next-Cams I was thinken about those mild Crane Cams. How much power are we looking at? Is it worth the price? I know my turbo was nice, but this car needs to stay reliable for a while (which contradicts myself cuz i want nitrous), Im thinken somewhere in the 14 second range for when I sell it. Thanks for your help

hrmmm 35-50 shot is going to get boring real fast for you and I doubt you will see 14's, though...you can spray a 75 shot safely with the right percautions taken. Here is a recent thread that might give you alot of the info your looking for as far as the n2o goes...though if you have anymore questions after I would be happy to answer them.As far as cam's go ...there are far more experienced people in that department that will answer that for you.

That kind of helps, but Im gonna be runnin on a stock engine with 64K. I think thats kind of a different game than a forged internals motor. Its a 99 too. I think 50 shot would be sufficient for me. I know I need plugs, I got the bosch platinum ones now...... emoji I dont have alot of money left after buying this new motor. I just sold my 270CC injectors. I got a GSX Pump. Could I run 50 Wet Shot safely? Thanks

everything mentioned in that thread applies to stock also..I started spraying at 70k to 85k and had no issues at all....our stock 420a with good compression and everything in check will handle a 75 shot no prob.

the 99 motor yes

the 99 fuel system no

only the 95 style fuel system will work with a dry kit
