#93592, "SRT BOV"

Hey, I heard an srt4 the other day and liked the way the BOV sounded, he said all he did was get the Mopar BOV and everything else was stock. Anyone know where to get that bov and if it would work? Is there another BOV that sounds like that? LMK. TIA.

im 90% sure that it wont work since the mopar bov is a plate type of deal that goes into the existing stock bov; at least i think that's how it works. from what i read on srtforums, it offers no performance and is for sound only.

I figured that's what it was, is there a BOV that sounds like that? I thought it sounded pretty cool.

An uncrushed 1G blow off valve kinda sorta.

The stock surge valve on an SRT-4 is built onto the compressor housing of the turbo.

yah the srt4 bov is in a sense just a diagphram. Its built onto the compressor housing. Yah i know, imagine that. I dont like the design but think mine sounds ok. Go with a greddy type S, sounds somewhat similar.

*98 eclipse rs
*2005 srt4 (screw the warranty let the modifications begin)
