you should also look into timing control

you do not need to upgrade the injectors

they suffice up until about 8 psi of boost and a wet kit adds extra fuel anyway

egt wouldnt be a bad idea

might keep you from melting a piston

sounds fun emoji

For a n20 beginner and no worry's really see if you can grab a zex wet kit...but it won't be in your shot range really only 50 shot max.

For just your run of the mill wet kit...I found it easy to use it on a rpm window switch and wot switch (won't engage unless your in rpm range and at wot) It is a great safety setup you can add on a standard kit, most only come with a wot switch. Help your odd's greatly on not leaning out. I imagine with your new compression ration your runnig 92+ octane anyways? You will need to be sure you are though... if you want to spray, unless you have a fuel cell your n20 fuel solenoid can pull from with the high grade. And like mentioned above you don't really need to change anything for the 75 shot...when you start to creep up to the 100 though you may want to consider some upgrades in timing. Also...I don't have it in memory but you will/should run a different plug...I didn't though with no issues....but I did use splitfires for the last bottle I ran.

yeah, I run a 75 shot on stock internals w/ Nitrous Express WET EFI kit and Wide Open Throttle Switch

Cant use the cheap gas
Get the colder plugs (even though I've ran a few bottles on the stockers w/ no problem)

let me know if you have any questions.

Its pretty much self explanitory.

you might want to think about upgrading your clutch as well. i dont think youll have to worry about it too much at a 75 shot but once you pass into the triple digits, itd be a good investment. also, when you say that you have an exhaust, what does your setup consist of?

I didn't think a non-turbo 420a would need a SAFC for tuning or would it be used for your shot of nitrous?

I want nawwzz.

if you plan on using a higher shot, dont worry about venom. just do it right and put in a direct port setup from nx.

what they meant by upgrading timing is have something like a MSD ignition box that will retard timing

you can get a use your window switch to activate the nitrous and to activate the timing retard function

that way no knocking

there is no difference
it is the msd dis 2
there is an input wire that when 12v is supplied to it
the timing will retard to whatever degree that you set it at

the window switch is also a MSD part
not sure which one but its on their site

Well if you are going with the vcn-1000, you really don't need to do much at all besides plugs and even then its not that important...they are tailor made though for each car so be sure you get the right model (#N29-137). They are pretty much like a zex kit...they control everything...if your too lean your not spraying and if you start to spray and you are getting close to lean it shuts it off even if you are still at wot.

Personally after running the zex ...I found it a ton better to be in control and to be able to tune my system to my needs and not to a factory spec like zex and venom. Personally though I think they make a great introduction to nitrous though and they resell very well so that might be a great place to start.

msd rpm window switch....though there are a ton of cheaper brands that work just as well. And persoanally after my msd shit the bed a few weeks ago I am not happy with them.

hey thanx madhatter! i think i will be going with the VCN-1000, i talked to venom yesterday and hes gunna hook me up with the right module. are their any tuning tricks with that control module? and u said the zex and venom modules are pretty much the same? like functioality wise and tuneability?

also thanx for the links, and sorry to hear bout ur msd..

and also, wil i need to get msd ignition ? i was under the impression the stock ecu timing was fine for it? and i can adjust the cam gears too if needed correct?

That is correct...you won't need to do anything timing wise for those...If I am not mistaken the largest shot you can run with the vcn-1000 is 55 so your safe.

As far as adjustments, there are none you can do besides changing the jets. That is the benefit of buying a zex or venom .....there is really no chance of user error as long as they are hooked up right emoji
