I am looking at purchasing a 16g tdo4l from a guy that has upgraded his on his subaru and was thinking. I just bought a log style mani from a guy online with a mitsu flange on it for a 14b, t25, 16g but the flange on the 16g from the Subaru is different than a flange from a dsm, right? Could I take a flange and weld it to the log mani and use the turbo?

If you get the flange of course you can. People make custom manifold all the time. Was this a serious question?

Yes it was a serious question. I know that people make custom manifolds all the time but I didn't know if there would be any problems because of the way the flange shaped.

At this point I would seriously consider what future turbo you plan to use. If you have a manifold that you paid for that has a certain flange on it, why pay to have it changed now, and then pay to have it changed when you decide to use a turbo with a more popular flange? Unless you are the one welding, then go for it.
