ok so ive been reading different things on different websites about this question. ive read that the t25 and 14b are interchangeable flangewise on the 1g dsm's. that they use the standard mitsu flange. but i jus read a minute ago that on a custom 420a setup they are not interchangeable. im confused. and also is there are difference in flanges for the DSM t25 and the NISSAN t25 or are they the same turbo? the reason im asking this is that i got my custom manifold today and i had them put the t2 flange on it b/c i was initially planning on using a t25 of a 1g DSM but i have since changed to a 14b. my problem is that i got the manifold today and i could swear that there is a t3 flange on it ! it is way to small for the 14b to fit. now did they mess up or did i mess up? please please help!
is it turned 90* the wrong way? If so thats probably for a nissan t25. I'm having a hard time making out what your asking. maybe you should take a picture.

here are some pics basically i need to know what flange is on this. the company said it was a t2 flange and it would fit a t25. i want to kno if the t25 and 14b are interchangable inlet flane wise.
Maybe they meant that the 1G and 2G stock manifolds could be interchanged? That much is true anyways. Usually when you put a 14b or 16G on a 2G, you get a 1G or Evo3 OEM manifold at the same time. http://www.roadraceengineering.com/2g16ginstallkit.htm
tks guys, i guess i was just mislead. im prolly goin to get flamed for this but im still confused. ive read in like 4 different threads here that the flanges are the same for the t25,t28,16g,18g,20g,14b. the inlet on my 14b is more square shaped and has a circular inside unlike the t2 flange i have on my manifold. also the pics ive seen here and on google of the t25 are also square shaped and have a circular center like mine too.
under this is my manifold next to my 14b
so if i do in fact have a t2 flange, what turbos will fit on it? becasue apparrently none of the above will! are there diferent exhaust housings for the turbo that people use?

Ok, I think you guys are thinking about this way too much. Like it was said, the 1g and 2g turbo exhaust manifolds are interchangeable, but instead of 2g'ers getting a 1g, it's the other way around, since the 2g flows more and is less prone to cracking. I have an Evo 3 exhaust manifold that my Evo 3 16G is bolted to, but if I wanted, I could have used my stock manifold (the Evo just flows more). The t-25, 14b, 16g (small, big, or evo), 18g, and 20g will all bolt up to a 1g/2g/Evo 3 exhaust manifold. What you have is not at all the same flange, but does look like the HRC S16g will bolt right up to yours. There is a difference between DSM t-25's and Garrett t-25's. The DSM t-25's have the mitsu flange on it, while non DSM Garrett's have a different (like those found on Nissans). Hope this helps.
