I have a diagram on how to make a homemade FCD, consists of a Low Power Quad Operational Amp (LM324N), a 4.7v Zener Diode, and a .22 micro farad 50w cap. My question to everyone is, what way does the cathode face? The diagram just says to put the diode in there, but I know it's important what way the anode and cathode are. Does the cathode face the LM324N or does it face ground. Thanks...

There's a much easier way to do what you're doing.

This is what I have (and many others) in our cars.

Good luck!

I already tried that one, I was just lookin for input on the other method because I didn't have a great result from the other method. I was just trying to find the best way to eliminate fuel cut

That is the best way, many people as well as myself have used that design and it works fine. If spending more money and more parts makes you feel more secure then i have one for sale for 400.00 that is the "Best" way.
