OKay,yeah this is an obvious question, yeah i have searched and i cant put all the peices together. if u want to tell me to search, dont bother posting cuz it isnt making you cool. My aim is Caulk07 if anyone wants to talk to me there. i would just like to converse with someone who has good knowledge on the 420a and everything needed to transit into boost. Im very new to eclipse's and have had mine for about 4 months now. If it matters its a stock 99 gs with 100,000k on it now. compression test was fine. agian. if this REALLY makes u mad, simply dont read. it want to be helpful please talk to me here or aim. thanks you for your time.

Welcome to the Board! Honestly, you need to search a little more because the information is out there. If the car is your only car and a daily driver, I would NOT recommend boosting it on the stock bottom end with 100,000 miles on it. Hell if its your only car/daily driver dont boost it at all unless you have the taxi company on speed dial.

If you can't figure out how to use the search enough to put all the pieces together then, in all honesty, you are probably better off just buying a kit. Get a Hahn Racecraft stage 1 or 2 kit or a star kit and be done with it.
Using the search is probably the easist part of turbo'ing a 420a n/t eclipse...

seriously dude no one is being an ass but turboing a 420a is not something that can be answered in one post. it would be different if you would have read the countless posts of people that have already done this and the problems that they encountered. then if you still had questions no problems.
now if you have a specific question then there are literally hundreds of members on this site that will answer it even if it has been answered before but your statement is way too broad and general.
short answer start looking at hahn or star
read everything you can about their respective kits you can even find installation guides on the site
and first thing do a compression test make sure that the engine you have can even handle 1psi before you spend the money on a turbo. a lot of people (myself included) turbo the stock engine and then have to go back and rebuild because the engine couldnt even handle the 8 or so psi that is normal

Here's how to turbocharge a 2GNT in two easy steps:
1. Buy a Hahn Racecraft kit. 2. Install it.

just boost it buddy. I bought my hahn kit at 110k miles and am currently running at 167k miles, and have never had any major issues. Little fixer uppers here and there, but nothing that broke my wallet. I'm still on a stock bottom end. Just buy a hahn kit if you don't know much about piecing together a turbo setup.
