Help...I bought a used kit that came with the duel stage boost controller but no switch. The main unit has 2 wires......a ground and a power (I believe). How can I hook this up without the switch.

I bought a double pole double throw toggle but the actual boost controller only has the one hot. With the original switch, how does the controller know which stage to operate?
