#92390, "running a TiAL 38mm with no spring or vacuum source"

I'm getting my stuff installed tomorrow, quick question, I could not find a wastegate spring locally in time so for a week or so I will not have one at all. will I wreck the wastegate if it is installed, but without a spring and not hooked up to a vacuum source? I'd think that would mean it is open all the time, no biggy, but I don't want to wreck an expensive wastegate

haha it wasn't no boost I was worried about, I've had an internal gate with no actuator for a few months now so it won't boost anyway.. it was more the wastegate I was concerned with emoji

It was past my bedtime when i was typing, haha j/k. I was reading it wrong then. If it did have a spring and no vacuum source it would boost and not stop. Thanks for clearing my post up.
