i want to get a stage 1 kit without an intercooler and onlt run 5 psi but most turbo are like 8 psi on the stock wastegate and i was wondering how to get it down to 5 withougt the ghetto spring mod on the arm of the wastegate by the way its only gonna be this way till i build up a new motor thanks

1. run on sentances are not cool!
2. punctuation is your freind.
3. the "ghetto" mod is the only way to do what you want unless you can find 5 psi wastegate, which probably isn't going to happen.

In my opinion, I would say to hold off on the boost until the engine is ready and you have an intercooler. Much safer, but don't let my opinion on it stop you. I'm just saying if it were me, I would wait until I had everything ready.

Hahn sells a 2-5lb actuator for there turbos. there stage 1 kits come with that actuator as well

when i only had the stage 1 kit the wastegate that came with it would only allow 4-5 lbs of boost. it wouldnt go any higher if i tried
