Hey guys, Ive got a 20g turbo, manifold, everything neeeded to boost my car, but I'm low on money. I plan to buy a portfueler in the future, but I can boost RIGHT NOW if my injectors will hold. I was thinking about 7 psi for now on stock injectors? Would i be ok on that without boomin my motor or would i have to get bigger injects, fmu, safc, and all that shit along with it? If i do need all extra goodies along with 7psi, I'm just going to wait to install the portfueler and boost then.. if ill be ok on stock injectors @ 7 psi, I'm hooking this turbo up ASAP. I WANT BOOST! Any help would be great. thanks again guys.

Well you can run 7psi on stock injectors but you need something to raise fuel pressure in boost, fmu will do. Hope you upgraded fuel pump also.

You need the FMU or SFMU, missing link to not get fuel cut. Try doing some research or looks at current 2gnt mods before you install everything because it will not be a simple bolt on and boost.

Just wait, if not your gonna boost it and then blow the engine. Then you will be waiting a little longer to rebuild it. Be patient, rushing things will only cause more problems in the long run.

i am not too up on the 20g and i know that the standard answer is 8psi on stock injectors and stock internals with an intercooler

just for my own knowledge for every psi increase what is different from the 16 to the 20g

It's just sad dude. You want to run a big turbo off of stock injectors without a fmu....Is that correct?

Your not the brightest bulb in the box, I'll tell you. But go ahead.

But remember to video tape it for us all emoji

Fuel pump?
FCD?
FPR?

Even if you want to run stock injectors, you're going to need to bbuild a basic fuel system for that thing. 7lbs on a 20G is not the same as 7lbs on a 16G. You may only be able to run something like 4lbs. Can you keep boost that low in check? I doubt it.

Wait and do it right. EDIT: deej and Tim are saying, "Oh boy," because they can tell, like the rest of us, that you obviously don't know what you're talking about. Half ass your turbo kit and get some pictures of your molten block for us afterwards.

Turbo needs air and FUEL. There is NO CHEAP FIX.

Merry Christmas.
