Ok..here's the situation. I have searched and searched, and i was wondering what the closest ideal fuel setup would be for a .57 trim t3/t4 on 8psi and stock internals. Would a set of accel 310's, a regular 12:1 fmu, and high volume fuel pump be sufficient? Also what is everyones opinion on the hahn in-line pump, I heard it was extremley annoying, would it work with my setup?

That fuel system you explained above would be ideal.

But all you need is a FMU and a walbro 255 fp and you would be fine. You would be close to maxing out your stock injectors at that point, but you could still run it safely.

I have been running 310cc injectors/SFMU/walbro 255 fuel pump and run 8psi daily on the Hahn stage 2 kit since Feb 26 of this year.

Hope this answers your question.

i would say use 310cc,sfmu,walbro 255hp. if you get the fmu and run 8 psi daily you will eventially want to change to sfmu and 310s because the fmu sucks (always too rich). you really dont want to be maxing out your fuel pressure at 110 - 120psi with stock injectors either. just take that money and put it towards the sfmu and 310s.other have done just fmu,255hp but personally i wouldnt . if you just want to get the fmu and pump still i would run only like 5 psi .

i'll tell you a short story and you can decide. my setup is t3 42 trim turbo, stock injectors, and a 12:1 fmu. i also run a external wastegate and i have a spring for 5.8 psi and 8.9 psi. well i ran the 8.9 with a stock exhaust.(stock pipe and a muffler) it ran fine. had afr's in the 10's at wot. well i got a exhaust cutout and installed it right before my cat. well with the more free flowing exhaust it bumped my boost to a little over 10 psi. my car ran lean at wot. real crappy...... so i put the 5.8 psi spring in there and it runs great. i boost about 8 psi and i peg my fp gauge but the afr's are back in the 10's i am going to msns in a few months and if you have not bought your fuel system yet i would consider it. in the end it will cost close to the same and you will only need to upgrade injectors to run more boost.

walbro fuel pump & fmu = $175 + the sfmu and injectors you will go to when you want to go run 15 psi or so =$400 + 175 =575

msns, injectors, afpr= $600

those prices are a close to right just a guess. you will need a walbro fp with the msns aswell.

I have to agree with Selmerguy on this.. If you plan on staying on bitch boost, that's a good setup.. But if you plan on pushing the envelope a little farther, (90% of all boosted people will most likely want more boost*)spend a little more now, and save time and money later on re-doing the setup...

The way I look at it, use a 12:1 if and only if:
-It comes in the kit *kits are high dollar, you're now broke*
-You're tight on cash and want to boost anyway..
-You are happy at bitch boost...
-You want to set it up anyway, run it for 2 months, redo everything, and try to sell your 12:1 FPR on Ebay to gain a higher feedback rating..

I concur!

That is why I tell everyone to really think about their ultimate goal before boosting. I don't know anyone I have ever meet that wanted to stay on bitch boost. 8psi starts to feel like nothing after a while.

Well to me 8psi really never felt like much to me from the first day I boosted my car. I guess riding in all my friends cars who are boosting anywhere from 15psi to 26psi really made my car feel slow even after boosting...hence the reason I am rebuilding for more boost. Its addicting as hell!

So yah I would spend the money on the MS setup if you ever plan on turning the boost up.

Good luck with everything!

Im running ~8 psi with the star turbo with just 12:1 fmu, stock pump and stock injectors. Let the comments about still using a stock pump commence.
