It sure is.

...and you'll want this 10-32 barb (http://www.clippard.com/store/display_details.asp?sku=CT2-PKG), so you can put a little peice of hose then a check valve to avoid idle vacuum leaks.

I am in need of a bleeder vavle myself...ok so if you get both those fittings and the check valve you mentioned, thats all you need to make it work then is those 3 fittings?

Are you referring to this type of check vavle?

HMmmmmmmmm, I don't have any of that... do you have any info/pics on it's purpose/writeup? I know I have a small idle vacuum leak, so you've got my attention.

Interested,

I let mine leak with no check valve and the car runs perfectly fine. No loss in vacuum on the boost gauge, but it bleeds boost properly. The worst thing I could imagine about not using a check valve would be is for the valve to possibly suck dirt in and clog it.

That one may work, but you can get the most common used one from advance or auto zone. It is 1/2 black 1/2 white... wish I had a pic... call me whenever and I'll describe it to you.

I just let mine leak also & it runs great... only taking off immediately from a cold start does it give me a lil ache in drops of rpm's at idle, but livable. I usually let my car warm up for a min or so as I'm walking to it & don't have to worry.

I've got speed bumps where I live, so whenever I push in the clutch going over @ idle is when the engine would drop in rpm's.

Annoying, but oh well... Hmmmmmmmmm

Well I don't feel like dealing with any type of the symptoms you described above. I figure I just want to do it the right way and spend the extra cash so I don't have to deal with anything like that. I know it would take away from the enjoyment I get outta driving it.

I try to avoid plastic anything when able, so could I use this for a check valve and eliminate the lil hose at the same time? In the description it does say 'not intended for pressure relief'.

http://www.clippard.com/store/display_details.asp?sku=MCV-1AB#

I'd still have to put this on the other end of the valve to the line (couldn't find a check valve w/ both threading & barbed)...

http://www.clippard.com/store/display_details.asp?sku=CT2-PKG

Also still getting this...

http://www.clippard.com/store/display_details.asp?sku=MNV-1K

I may pick these up (am still new & learning), thanx!
