I was wondering what kinda Hp i might be putting to the wheels with my set up. For those who dont know, my name is joe and ive been a member for about a year and a half. I finally turbo'd my car about a month ago and i been dealing with a few issues due to ignorance (not turbo)but anyway i basically went with a custom set up with a Hahn base. I have the hahn s16g turbo and mani. i have the hahn custom stage 2 intercooler pipes with greddy type-s bov and 2g factory smic. for fuel managment i went with the walbro 255 pump and the vortech Fmu set at 12:1, stock injectors. Everything else is in my sig and i dont feel a need to write it all again but what do you think im pushing to the wheels? i know alot will say dyno but right now its not an option but will be in the future and i will post true measures but right now i was just wondering from people who have similar set ups. i basically have the hahn stage 2 but with my own intercooler and fuel managment set up. thanks to all who reply.

your mods are real close to mine

i was running very rich the last time i was at the dyno 10:1 when i did the 222whp run

that should help make a determination

now before a mod yells at us for benchracing gotta go (looks over shoulder quickly)

damn that sounds like a lot of hp for only 7psi

there is a list somewhere on the first page or 2 of the 2gnt turbo conversion page of tuners and two people running 7psi with the star kits both dyno'd at 193whp, i guess its all in the condition of the motor and how good/bad the car is tuned which kind of leaves a wide range that i would guess is between 180 and 225. You can figure your definetly close to 200 + or - a few hp

i have heard this before and it amazes me

hahn says that 250-275 crank hp on a stock engine with stock exhaust at 8psi
with an estimated drivetrain loss 220s is right in the area where it
should be i realize that it is also on stock compression pistons

so it is my reasoning that the turbo cams, higher flowing exhaust, 55mm TB, and gasket matching everything made up for the lower compression

does that make sense or could the dyno have just been off

There are alot of things that determine how much hp your going to get out of a set up. i was just wondering what people with similar set ups were pulling just as an idea, the only true way to know is to dyno, and im sure with a bunch of aftermarket mods and a built engine your gonna see alot more than just stock everything and the same set up. but thanks to everyone who replied, i will be sure to put my sheet down the day i dyno her, which hopefully wont be to long from now
thanks again
joe

i think that makes perfect sense i'm actually surprised more people aren't seeing the numbers closer to where you are. ALthough there also is a variation in types of dyno's too and i do think it goes back to the condition of the engine also. A lot of people like me are putting turbo kits on somewhere in the neighborhood of 100k miles and i don't think anyone can say that they believe their engine and drivetrain after that many miles are in the same condition it was when it was new
