#91326, "FMU or Not????"

I am in the process of installing the emanage and i have removed the afc and am wondering if i should remove the vortech fmu from my star kit totally, leave it in, or replace it with an aeromotive fpr with a 1:1?? I haven't heard or read anything that tells me whats best to do, any feedback would be great...

the aeromotive would be adjustable, that would be the only reason for changing. plus it will supply more fuel since it would be 1:1 and i think your running the 12:1 fmu disk.

yes the holes had to be drilled for the MAP sensor. for the fuel rail, its a 1/2" NPT fitting into the rail reduced to a -6AN for the return line. Yuor venom rail should have the same threads and use the same fittings...

hmm only problem is my fuel pressure gauge is taking up the other end. And how did you get it back to the tank? Is there a fitting or plug on the tank already or did you have one made? I am not the one installing this so I have to be able to tell the shop how to go about it. I don't have the time right now to do it myself...

you need this to put it inline with the hose for your fuel pressure gauge:

summit racing part # EAR-100192.
Then run your fuel pressure gauge to the -4AN tee inlet on that adapter.
You run the hose back underneath the frame of the car to the fuel tank.

you follow these exact same directions here man:

one last question... the AEI-13109 will work on this setup correct? Aeromotive A1000 thats the summit part number?

Edit - searched the part number and found another member saying they used it... thanks a lot... hopefully the car will be up and running by the end of the week
