Alright, first off this is my buddies car so I might not know the answers to all the questions you guys will probably ask me.

He has been searching and searching on here, trying all kinds of different shit and nothing he tries has helped.

As soon as the car starts to build boost, it just leans out, backfires, all that kind of stuff. It seems like it just gets fuel cut like crazy, but it shouldnt be. For fuel, he has a Walbro 255, 30lb injectors, SFMU-(largest disc, dark spring), Missing Link w/new filter, New Fuel filter, and a SAFC-2.

Fuel pressure is at 35lbs at idle, static pressure at idle is at 45lbs. There are no vacuum leaks anywhere, and all 3 adjustment screws on the SFMU are all the way in.

Any help, ideas, whatever is all appreciated.

I bet it's your buddy's missing link. Put a logger on it and watch the MAP sensor reading during a run. I bet it's seeing just a hair of positive pressure and the ECU is freaking out causing fuel cut.

yep...I bet anything its the ML. I had the same issue. Make yourself a voltage clamp and be done with it.
