#90525, "t fitting"

well i called myself getting ahead of the game the other day, after spending several hours under my car t fitting my oil sender (stock) and oil sender (aftermarked gauge) i get my kit in the mail and low and behold theres a t fitting in there, after reading through the well written instructions i find out that that t fitting is for my oil feed line, does everyone who went turbo have 3 seperate things running off the stock oil plug in the rear of the motor? if i tap my oil feed line in there it will make for a third source is this right? also is there room back there for another t? i would have to say no but im not sure what has everyone else done? thanx joe

there is plenty of space back there...but also keep in mind that there is also plenty of vibration. Having an elborate setup back there may increase the chance of something breaking...and that would be bad news.

I personally got lucky and found something like this at a local plumping store:

It isn't exactly like that, mine, instead of being a cross like that it has a port coming out the front...kinda like a cross between a "T" and and Elbow.

Also keep in mind that the stock oil pressure sensor isn't nessesary, I just like the piece of mind of a dummy light because...well, I'm a dummy. emoji

*edit*

even though it seems like you got it straight on what you want to do I altered the above picture to illistrate better of what I actually have:

thanx for the tip ill have to look into that, how possible is it that the t fitting can break loose? i mean i know the more you go out the better the odds but i guess it would be better if i could t everything off the same t rather than splicing in two t's. i cant wait to get this thing up and running. after thinking long and hard about what to go with i decided to go with a custom built kit from hahn
this is what i got:
From hahn:
super 16g turbo (ceramic coated)
hahn manifold (ceramic coated)
Hahn v band 2 piece down pipe 3" with flex section and 3" 3 bolt flange
hahn oil line kit (full kit)
hahn intercooler piping kit 420a smic
g reddy type s flange

Parts already had:
G reddy type s bov
vortech sfmu
2G Gsx smic
Walbro 255 fuel pump
synapse missing link
a pillar pod w/ air fuel /boost/ oil pressure gauges
all together everything has costed me $1,947.00

If there is anything im missing someone please let me know but i believe i have it all covered. i think this idea was the best after thinking long and hard and knowing hahns rep, also just so everyone knows i got everything i ordered from hahn in a week and 4 days from the date of purchase, this was super fast shipping if you ask me

only problem with this idea is its for 2 things and i mentioned i have 3, if you run an aftermarket gauge you need to install the sender unit as well so i do need to t off twice but i got a good picture and everything, but thanx for your help

Look at his write-up. There is a clear Picture of how gsgoinfast ran his oil pressure gauge. This is how I plan to do mine when I get my gauge.

Just tee once and put oil feed line and oil pressure gauge. Don't waste your time with the dummy light factory oil pressure sending unit...that's what the oil pressure gauge is for. I'm sure as hell more likely gonna be watching my boost and oil pressure as I'm driving then my dash for a little dummy light.

x2
I don't even have a T right now, it just runs straight to my turbo until I can find a pod to put my oil pressure gauge in.
Instead I pointed my passenger side view mirror at the ground so I can see if I am leaving any oil behid emoji nothing leaks and only a catastrophic failure could starve my car of oil, so it isn't that big of a deal.

looks like you got everything, more importantly, you got it all for a really good price.. nice work emoji
One thing I would recommend, do not re-use the stock bolts on your head (the two bottom center bolts strip out very easily), go to NAPA or Autozone or somewhere and get stainless steel 8mm x 1.25 40mm long studs, stainless serrated lock washers, and 8mm x 1.25 nuts to hold on your mani instead. Looks better, easier to install, and will never seize.

hmm the stainless ones look better, don't corrode, and cost right around the same. just make sure you get real stainless.
