recently i have been thinking about getting the msd dis2 for my 420 99gs hrc stage 2. but recently i also talked to Bill at hrc and Crane, and Also Howell they all say, that the Crane HI-6DI 2 is alot better compared to the msd dis2.. the msd workes off of rpm based retard say, 4 degree 4-7000rpm while the crane is based upon load Crane calls it Boost Porportion this means from like 0-15 psi it will retard under load for say, if i set it 4 degrees it will do that within that psi area where needed according to them...
also thanks to murix and others who gave me info on the ignitions so far...
what do you turbo guys recommend for me ?
also the price for msd dis2 is around $300 and the new crane is around $600-700 complete, also this deleted that check engine light like the msd has... but i would like your feedback
i boost 5-10 psi right now but to me its more of a safety issue to have
