I just hooked up my S-AFC again and seriously, I forget a couple things, and anyone who can answer them quickly for me, will get some bonus points; Horay!
In My main menu for the s-afc, I have these settings set on it and I just wanna make sure they are right before i drive it...
-ETC MENU -Sensor Type -Hot Wire IN=0 / OUT=0 -Flap IN=0 / OUT=0
-INITIALIZE Yes/No = No is underlined and in bold.
I was also wondering what your guys' throttle point settings are for high and low? I put mine to 10% and 55% but just curious to know what you turbod guys' are also.
Lastly for wiring, When you cut the MAP wire (yellow/black) on the top ECU harness, obviously one of the wires goes to the plug into the ecu and the other end goes into the big harness under the ecu. Which wire from the s-afc goes to which? Right now I have the yellow wire from safc to the ecu wire and then the white wire from the safc going to the bottom wire that leads into the harness under the ecu. Is this correct, I cant remember for shit.

AFC Wire ECU Wire Power Red 20 (upper) Black/White TPS Gray 35 (upper) Brown/Red Ground Brown 10 (upper) Black (ECU side)* Ground Black 10 (upper) Black (Source side)* MAP in White 36 (upper) Yellow/Black (Engine side) MAP out yellow 36 (upper) Yellow/Black (ECU side) O2 sensor Blue 30 (upper) White/Black Tach/RPM Green 73 (lower) White * Ground wires should be 1cm apart and attached to same black ECU wire. The only wire you have to cut the the MAP sensor's Yellow/Black wire. For those with the Service Manuals, the upper connector is A106 and the pins are numbered 1-40.
The only sensor type that matters is pressure. Don't highlight anything else because YOU DON'T HAVE THEM!
I've never changed the graph scale. Ever.
i used 20% / %75 for my LO/HO points.
