#90232, "New turbo, what options?"

So I just bought this turbo on ebay from BlaastPerformance. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=8002291610&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT
Okay, click on it and scroll down to the upgrades and options part. There's an upgrade for a water cooling option, should I get it? Or no? Also, I have a Tial 38mm wastegate, do I need to purchase the block off flange kit from them to block the internal wastegate part? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
~Jeffo

Will do, what about the water cooling option, is it worth $40? If I get it, where would the best place be to tap into the coolant? I can only imagine it would be a good thing to keep it cooler, but the engine temp would aslo increase though right? I would def use some sort of redline water wetter or something like that in my coolant along with a 160* thermostat. Lemme know what you think. Thanks.

i'D GO WITH THE COOLING OPTION.

That being said, your oil should never get hot enough to coke up the bearings really badly. I'd also get the gasket kit. or 2. emoji

So, what about the internal wastegate block off flange for $25? Is it a waste of money? Let me know. I gotta pay for it all tomorrow. Thanks for the help so far.

I tapped into the coolant flowing right in front of the head coming out of the thermostat housing.

You won't see your engine temp change...

That heat is still in your engine bay, you just want to pull it away from your turbo's bearings.
