Like I said in the locked post, I am not too far, just tell me when and where to be, and i'll see if I can make it, I have a really shitty school scheduel. Also there are two things that you should never do while working on a car, drink beer or be half asleep. You will only make stupid mistakes, and over look stupid shit, I have been there and its not too much fun when your car wont work because your drunk ass forgot to put a plug wire back on. So you end up getting all pissed and breaking shit.

I'm thinking the hardest part of all of this will be putting the fuel system in rite? Then I will probably take the manifold and turbo along with the downpipe to a muffler shop and have them rig me up a better downpipe. You guys think this will cost much money to do? I'm excited to get all this stuff worked out with my car. I just hope it runs good.

For me the hardest part was taking out the oil level sensor, I didn't have the right kinda scket, 26mm sensor socket(make sure its a snesor socket) most bolts have 6 sids this bastard had 8. That and droping the oil pan was a pain in the arse. BTW before the install get 2 tubes of black rtv sealent, a pice of paper gasket 1' by 1', and get 2 cans or pb penatrating oil.

Hey, eclipsetenzor, I got a custom 2.5 inch downpipe for a hahn kit off of someone on this site so I didnt have to go cut mine if I ever wanted to go back to stock. I think It is a good idea to have one made or buy one.
Also It said in the other post you decided to go with a walbro intank pump? Well I was looking over the installation of the fuel system and there alot of cutting back there where the inline pump would go, are you just planning on bypassing all this? (I have the walbro pump too, no inline)

Yup, I bought the Walboro just for ease of installation not only that but everyone vouchs for it so I figured I'll just do that and save myself from the noise of the inline. I have a feeling that the fuel regulator is going to be a bitch for me how long does it typically take to do the fuel system? And can you mount a fuel pressure gauge in the car? Also I want to get a downpipe remade for the turbo kit but my question is how do I go about doing that. Say I take it to Meinike or however its spelled. Do I bring the turbo manifold and turbo along with the original dp for it to them and have them install it all at once? Please give me some info on this. I am hoping to get this done before I goto boot camp, but if it is not going to be done without alot of work I would much rather wait and then install it along with a frontmount when I get the extra cash. Already spent so much on my car this past week to begin with, it sorta sickens me

IDK about the hahn fpr, but my sfmu took a few hours of which most was spent measuring and cutting ss line and installing the fittings on the ss line and running to the parts store twice to get the right bolt to fit in place of the stock fpr, i also changed my fuel filter at the same time. I was actually surprised at the ease of installation of the fuel system when i looked at it. I just looked at the hahn instructions and its basically the same thing so it really shouldn't be bad if your fuel lines are all set and you don't need to put fittings on them or anythin.

On a side note the car looks sweet with the turbo spoiler

Thanks for the comment on the wing dude. It feels really good having the car come together finally the way I want it. And where do you guys typically mount your FPR? And what am I suppose to do with the stock FPR? I want to do the install myself but I don't know if I trust myself enough to execute all this correctly. If any of you guys who are knowledgeable could help me out maybe this coming Friday or Saturday please let me know. Help is greatly appreciated

Haha the fuel system is a tricky thing to fuiger out, what I am doing it using the stock fuel filter and blocking off the fpr with a brass hex cap, then running a return line off the fuel rail/ fuel gauge/ sfmu/ then back to the tank. And you have to trust you self there really isant that much to it. At first I was a little intimitaded, seeing how the hardest thing I have done before it was putting a hedder on my car. But now that I am almost done it all seemes like a big joke. That is untill I try to tune it, Glad I got a wideband. Oh and off topic I also have a autometer narrow band blinky a/f ratio gauge, and I never noticed how off that was. When I am at wot the wide band reads 13.1-11.9 and the autometer reads greed...lol. When at a idal loop and the gauge plays back and forth when it reads green at idal the wide band is at 16 flat. So the autometer has the same reading for 11.9 and 16 flat. Not a good tuning tool if you ask me.

^^^what he said, i just might be able to help this weekend
I never did anything mechanical on my car before the turbo, the most i had done was a little electrical, changing my oil and installing my bumper, and afterwards it rreally didn't seem as hard as the instructions make it sound

my install has been horrible. anything that could possibly go wrong has gone wrong. The big problem for me was the bolts around the cat and the oil pressure sensor stripping. Like said above have a can or two of PB blaster and the right tools. Have fun
