There is a local guy with a Silva who makes all kinds of crazy power selling a gigantic intercooler. 26x11.5x4" core (Four inches thick!!) 37" from tip of one inlet to the outlet 3" inlets and outlets Is there even any point to cutting everything up to fit it in the 95-96 smiley bumper? The price is definitely reasonable, only twice as much as an SRT-4 intercooler and four times the size, and it would be good for big big numbers, but would it even be worth it to have it and be running around boosting 8psi with it?

Im gonna go ahead and assume you've read maximum boost. From what I gathered in the intercooler section is the surface area is of most importance. (in other words huge thicknness isnt that impressive) Another thing mentioned in that section is the balance between size and flow. If its too huge it will flow really poorly. My guess is that this is one of those cases where you would be better off without. Do you have an intercooler now?
If so read this to see if you need a bigger one. I say dont fuck with it, if it aint broke. My .02
I figure since I cant stop fixing the damn thing, I'll just create more problems to work on. The stock pile has begun. Parts PArts PARts PARTs PARTS!!! I'm a novice listen to what I say and make your own conclusion. If I'm wrong tell me and I will learn. Thanks be to the 2gnt Gods may they grant me turbo and fruits of the Earth. Amen.
