A quick question for those with Hahn turobystems w/ the FMIC. From where it is mounted, how deep is it?? I know when not mounted it is about 3" deep, but since I don't actually have the kit (yet!!) to do a test fit I am not sure if where it mounts it sticks out any farther. My main reason for asking is cause I am in the process of mounting a body kit and want to know if and how much I need to sand off the new front bumper cover in order for there to be enough room for the FMIC to fit once I get it. With the kit alomst being ready for paint, this info would be great so I won't have to go through re-sanding and repriming/painting once I actually get the kit. I'd rather do the modifications now before I actually get the kit painted thie first time. Thanks very much in advance.

You can trim the inside edges of the bumper after it is painted. Use a dremel wheel and go slowly and carefully. The paint will not crack or spiderweb if you just make clean cuts, little by litte.

Paint it now if you must, you can trim it later. Thats how I did mine. But of course...i's easier just to get the FMIC on...trim the bumper nice, and go paint - but I feel it is just as easy to trim it after paint...and I like having things done...so if I were in your shoes...I'd go have it painted.

Thanks, I've been trying to get my car painted for ever. Seems like every time I get a chance to do some work on it somthing comes up. I still have a little ways to go before it is ready for paint, so maybe with any luck I can win the freaking lottery and just the the Hahn kit without having t save for the damn thing. If will take your advice, and if I am ready to paint before I get the kit I will just paint instead of waiting and sand it down later if need be.
