I waas reading through some other posts and read about the flex section added to the down pipe. I never had one put on my star dp, could this be why I keep snapping manifold bolts? Just want to know because I am about to put all new manifold bolts on and I dont want to break anymore. -Todd

The motor wants to move, and if the downpipe is stuck in place, it will strain any weak links in the whole setup, so this is a likely cause for you breaking manifold bolts. Plus your car is also lowered, so if you ever scrape your exhaust or downpipe on anything that is also transferring some of the impact to your manifold bolts, which definitely doesn't help.

The car actually isnt lowered, but the exhast does hang low. Where should I have the flex section put in at, I was thinking right in front of the cat? -Todd
