Hey if someone could help me out here and post a picture of the wires going into the back of the connector that goes into the gauge I would greatly appreciate it. All of the wires came out of the back and I have no idea where they go and I really like/need it to be functional. Don't wanna melt anything. Thanks.

sike you impatient shit. lol.

theres a box? mine just came in, and theres a yellow and a red wire that go to the probe. Then there is a black and white which are for the lighting. the black and white are 12v+(white) and ground(black).

That's how mine is anyway, yours may be different.

sorry im useless.

it would probably be easier to tell you if you could show a pic to jog some memories

don't know which autometer you've got, but if it looks anything like this one

then red coming out of gauge is power, black is ground, white is probably to hook to your dash lights but you could just hook it up with the power wire (light will be on all the time but you won't notice it thats what i did)and then the other red and yellow (the roll in the pic) go from the back of the gauge and to the probe

It's a Autometer C2. It's not like that one you posted. The probe wires run all the way to the gauge wraped in braided steel. The back of the gauge has I believe 8 or 10 pins for the matching connector comming from the probe.

my probe wire has two (yellow & red) on the back of the guage, there are the two hook ups labled; one for red and one for yellow. Then there is the black and white wire, one is ground and the other is power.

Called autometer and for future reference the pin outs are as follows on the C2 Pyrometer/EGT:

connector snap upwards:

X X BLACK X RED
X WHITE X YELLOW RED

Praise the lord for letting me once again have a working EGT gauge! Lol. Thanks anyway guys.
