I hear that the stock DSM 450's will fit, but it's a tight squeeze. I tried them once but gave up because I was a pussy and thought I was about to break something.

You can't hook up the 450's directly to the stock ECU, if you do there is a high risk of burning out the ECU because the 450's are low impedence and require that you send an initial peak pulse of energy to open them, and then hold a lesser amount of energy to keep them open for the requested duration... Is why they are called "peak and hold". The factory ECU expects that "saturated" or high impedence injectors to be connected, which have the full 12 volts applied for the entire duration the injector is suppose to be open.

You can get away with putting resistors in series with the DSM 450's, though, and they will work fine and not hurt the stock ECU. These resistors make the low impedence injectors look like high impedence injectors to the ECU.

The best way to do it to match the proper injectors with your ECU, which means the Accel 40 lb/hr injectors or the popular 42 lb/hr injectors are a good option.

I have 450cc dsm injectors, $40+10 shipping off eBay, w/ a honda injector resistor pack (can also use a turbo dsm resistor pack, or even make your own, although the cast aluminum heatsinks on factory packs keep 'em alive), $15 shipped off eBay.

I used some new 420a o-rings ($1.15 /ea) from O'Reilly's (dealship wanted ($16 /ea LMAO). (once on the injector) Lube them up w/ some oil, and squeezed them into the rail (use a blunt flathead to squeeze in the sliver that will tend to resist, will pop in easily once you get it technique down). Then w/ the lower rings lubed carefully, and evenly, torque the two rail bolts down.

I think I got enough picks to make a detailed write-up if people show more intrest.

i would love for you to do a write-up. I have had my 450's lying around for a while now. I have the dsm resistor pack, and would love to see picks of the wiring and all.

Yes they'll fit. You'll still need to use the resistor box.

Yeah They will fit but they are a bitch to go in. Once you get the first one in the rest is easier.I'm running a homemade resistor pack.
