#88233, "Help! Car drives like shit....barely idles...."
I am having some bad luck with my car as of late. Here is my deal....
The setup: 315cc injectors 8-12psi SFMU Built engine
The problems started first when I attempted to start my car after work. I turned the key over and nothing. I check the voltage on my turbotimer and its reads 10.9 at the battery..not enough. SO I had a guy with a turck jump my car...then it ran perfectly fine all the way home.
I attempt to start it again after turning it off just to check if its the battery..and it didnt start. So I went to AdvanceAuto and got myself a new Optima Red Top and installed it. Started the car up and it ran well for a few short trips... but not now.

Now whenever I start the car its jumps up to 1,200 rpms...seems normal then levels at about 800rpms-900rpms but then..after about 20 seconds it has trouble idleing and tries to die on me...
If I rev the car up, it backfires and sounds like total shit..deep backfiring...almost like misfiring...and after releasing the throttle its gets as close to dieing as possible and will barely stay running...-- When I drive the car it will barely make it down the road...very sluggish and feels like it is working inefficiently.
The car has good fuel pressure, so I don't think it is a pressure issue. No leaks or anything like that. So I guessed at first it is something with my ignition...
I canged the plugs and the coilpack. No dice.
I am thinking maybe one of my 315cc injectors didn't like 12psi? and is either dirty or locked up...Im not sure. Sound like a good guess...any input or advice is hepful.
