So I am cruising last night, coming home from the strip, and I get off the highway and my EGT gauge needle starts flickering back and forth like insanely crazy fast! I checked all my wiring connections and everything is cool, wtf is wrong with this thing? Anyone else have probs like this before, lol ?

mine started jumpin around and vibrating and i tightened the probe up on the manifold and its fine now

Shit this just happened today cruising in the silvia. I have the procomp version.

Also, my intake air temp gauge is fuckered. It sits @ 70* all day and doesn't even move.

I just emailed a complaint to autometer about the 2 gauges. We'll see what they do about it.

thanx for the info, the nut that goes over top the probe in the manifold was a titty bit loose, so i tightened it and bada bing, no more craziness on the gauge. thanx do0d.

blaire, just try tightening your probes, it should go away i guess.
