It's from a Ford Powerstroke Turbo Diesel. I can get specifics if anyone wants. I also have 3 of these if anyone is interested. It's a perfect fit for an UIC piping piece. I guess it could also be used as a CAI also.

We'll see once I get more. I know a friend wants one and the other I may keep. If I can get more I'll start selling. Maybe $25 shipped each or so.

A buddy just got a job as a Ford mechanic and always sees these over in the dumps. He has only been there 2 weeks and already has 3 of them. Hopefully there will be more to come.

might not be perfect...but it is les ghetto than what I have now.

THe only thing I don't like is I wish it had a 90* at the TB instead of that 45*.

let me know if you get an extra Jeff...or I'll just keep an eye out in the forsale section.

Wow that is creepy. You can always saw off the 45* end and add a 90* elbow. However, will the battery and the tiedown be able to fit in there?

as far as turboing goes, isn't it more of an ill effect to have a bigger (much bigger in this case) after the IC pipe than before it. i thought the idea was to go with slighlty smaller piping since the cooler air exiting the IC is more compressed. how would this pipe (even if it is a nice fit) be of any benefit?

I can try and find out what truck, year, model, engine, etc. it came from and go from there. I don't believe there are any part #'s stamped on the piping though. Remember, these were just scrap pieces tossed out at a local Ford dealership where my buddy works.

Nah, it isn't perfect, but for around $25 that's a pretty decent fit. What did you expect, chrome plated mandrel bent Inconel? The topic of the thread starts out with "Cheap Ford..."
