#8689, "Turbo Timer Question"

Hey guys I was wondering what you guys set your TT's at when you stop as far as time goes. What is a good setting, maybe 1 min for slow driving, and maybe 3 for hard driving. Also for those of you with the Blitz one with speed monitor, or was that HKS, whatevs where did you splice into the speed signal, on the tranny, ECU? Could you tell me what I should look for. Thanks Alot.

Thomas.

Given that our turbo's 420A's turbo'd and 4G's are in front of the engine they do get some releif that turbo's in other applications such as RX7/300ZX don't get. I usually set mine for a basic 1 min for normal driving and if I'm on it real hard for a good period of time or after passes at the track I set it for about 2 mins. However, I believe that the HRC kits are not watercooled..I could be wrong if I'm not then more cooldown time is a good idea.

I have the HKS type 1 and have it set on automatic. Go to a autopart store and check out a Chiltons book on your car and year. It will tell you what color to splice into
