Hey, Ive been having trouble trying to straighten out the fmic (star) with my 95 bumper. Mines is crooket like a mofo (slanted to the left). I took out the reinforcement bar but still cant manage to get it straight. DId any of you guys remove that white blocky thing too (sorry dont know what its called)? Since the reinforcement bar is removed I'm thinking there isnt anymore protection to it. I would definetly replace it with a 97-99 bumper but at this point I'm on a tight budget. I believe Corbin had his straight so if you are reading this plz let me know how you cut yours out. THanks

Getting the Star FMIC to sit right is a pain no matter what. The pipes push the driver side down. What i did when i had mine on my talon was to get some large tie straps and use them to hold the pipes up so the fmic was straight. The tie wraps i used were very large zip ties, used in HVAC industry, home depot should have them, they are about 3 feet long. You will see an eyelet on the drivers side right behind the frame where the bumper reciever bolts into the subframe. Look right below the headlight on the frame.

I always see star eclipse with slanted fmic, except for that dude in the red eclipse with the cf hood but he sold his eclipse...

nothing like driving with the windows down and the music low: i love hearing the turbo spool, swwwhhhttt!!!!

When I installed mine,some of the pipes seemed a liitle too long in some places so I took a pipe cutter and shortened a couple of pieces(upper IC pipe and the one that connects to it) and all my fitment problems went away and it sits straight and level!

its a bit to the side since the pipes ARE a bit long. Instead of cutting em I added a plate so it could bolt a little to the side.
