I have a 99 eclipse rs. Im going to get a aftermarket stage2 turbo kit for it. I have 3 kits i can get. HRC,Star or Mitsubishi Turbo Specialties Extreme Turbo Kits
My question is really not which one to buy < even though any input would be great>. Its i dont want to spend 700$ to pay a high performance shop to put it on, i would like to do it myself. I have some knowledge but not alot. I work on cars though, stereos, alarms, tv's etc... been a installer for almost 8 years, so i can do a lot. Is it possible for me to put this on and not have major issues? Any feedback would be great THX.

yes its possible for you to put it on without any major issues, IF you take your time and understand its not a rush type job. you need to get the turbo bible... "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell. it will help you understand everything. also most definatly use the search function on here till your fingers bleed cause any problem you may encounter has already been discussed and solved on here at some point in the past! if that don't work... ask us! we rock! good luck nad have fun!

If you want a kit that will hold your hand and guide you through the install then get it from Hahn... But after getting my Star kit I'd definately go custom next time!
Star Stage II,Vecco SS heatshield,OBX intake,OBX fuelrail,MSD coil & wires,Epac voltage sys.,Hyperground sys.,Eagle rods,JE pistons,ARP studs,meling oil pump(Ceramic coated DP,wastegate tube,Manifold & turbo housing)

custom rocks! but ya, i read Maximum Boost too, its a must. also, like tim said, just search and search and search and search and search and search and seach and search and search... sorry. but get my drift? searching on here will solve almost any problem you have. you should have no problem installing this, its pretty much a bolt on affair.
