Yea its safe, check your motor out first. Do a compression test and make sure everything checks out with your motor before you decide to spray (timing belt,no leaky head gasket, ect ect). A 75 shot will find any weak spots very quickly. Also what kind of system do you plan on running? How often do you plan on spraying? How many miles on your motor and if something goes wrong can you afford to rebuild? Zex and venom are pretty much the safest to run as they eliminate alot to all of user error. N/X, Nos ect ect are very easy to set-up to spray really when ever you want them to which has alot of benefits, though user error/set-up can add to finding the weak spot in a motor very quickly also. Example: your n/x is set to spray at wot off a micro switch, you mash the pedal at 3k rpms and wind up spraying through the lower rpm range. At first nothing may happen, but that is very destructive especially on a stock motor. Running a wet kit though is very safe as its adding the needed fuel also. If this is your first time with n2o start out smaller the first few times. Start with a 35 shot then increase as you find your motor and you can handle it well. Ask Collente, though it may have been a solenoid failure, a 50 shot killed his motor.

i have seen a bunch of people on here blow their motors from nitrous. 75 shot is definitely the most you will want to go. I wouldnt suggest doing more than 50... lol but im a pussy and cant afford to rebuild so thats just me. But yeah, just dont go any higher than 75

I can only recall like 1... and the guy who squeezed constantly in 5th gear on the highway... but that was way before your time.
75 shot is safe. If your engine is in good shape and you are smart about it. no problemo.

I'd say start off with a 50 shot then move up to a 75 if everthing went well. Then...you'll be like "Damn...refilling this bottle is getting expensive. And I feel like a sitting duck with no juice in the tank" Then you will come over to the darkside...and you will boost it. Alvin

not to be an ass, but i find it extremely diffucult to believe that you did indeed search for your answer and came up with "nothing usefull." this has got to be hands down the most asked question when it comes to nitrous.
