Just wondering is there anyway you can adjust a HKS standard blow off valve so I can like get rid of that annoying turkey gobble noise. The only thing that it looks like you can do is loosen it with those bolts on the flange and it pops out easier. I just don't like the sound and the boost gauge starts spikin when it makes that sound, it's not smooth like it was before.

Hey it worked for me..i get a little flutter at low/ threshhold boost but at good boost it lets out a hi-pitched whistle. Other than checkin to see if the pipe to the bov is big enuff and loosening the spring I can't find any other possibility.

Its not adjustable but I guess a softer/stiffer spring could be used if you could find one. Mine sounded great. Just like air shooting. Not bad even in comparison to the type H. Mine NEVER fluttered and in no way can a BOV be responsible for boost spikes. If its not sealing or closing you get slow response or less boost. If its not opening or not opening enough you get compressor surge which also slows response after shifting.

Hmm so that's where the whistling sound comes from? The filter being close to the compresser eh? Haha I thought it was my BOV at first, I'm all hmm it didn't sound like that before maybe that's bad. I guess it's not, sounds pretty cool! emoji
