#85472, "Has anyone's SFMU ever gone bad?? if not then whats wrong??"

alright...heres my situation....my car has never been working the way it should be.... its always had a rough miss and never takes off like it should...everything has been weeded out except my fuel system... first of all, i cant get my fuel pressure lower than 23-25ish...second, my fuel pressure doesnt rise like it should... my sfmu came with two springs, one short, one long...not green or colored crap...im using the short one and 2.72 disk with 30# accel and warbro 255 pump... it would every now and then work great, but now that i installed the fuel pressure gauge and i have both autometer a/f gauge and digital that shows im running lean as hell, i know its fuel... fuel pressure slowly rises to around 50ish, but thats after ive been boosting for 3000 rpms... so whats up?? i really dont think its my fuel pump because when i pinch the return line, the fuel pressure jumps up to 100 quickly....so i really think its my sfmu....do they go bad?? THE DIAPHRAM AND VACUUM HOSES ARE GOOD!!!! IVE CHECKED THEM OVER AND OVER...thanks
